What is silk screen printing?
This process has been around for a long time. In short, you have a piece of silk with tiny holes in it stretched over a frame. Using a rubber squeegee, we press the ink through the silk screen and onto the garment. The design is burned into the screen using photo emulsion.
What are the design requirements?
We would love to have your graphics in a high resolution format. Typically, setting up the DPI (dots per inch) of your image at 300 works great for the print process. Unfortunately, mock-ups from customink.com or related websites will not work. We need the actual graphic files to work with. If you are wanting the graphics to be printed at a certain size, then please specify when placing your order. Please send all graphics to our email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If the files are larger than 25MB, you can use Google Drive, Dropbox, or a related website.
What is your minimum quantity for an order?
Our minimum quantity for T-shirts or other garments is 12 pieces. Our minimum quantity for paper products (posters, invitations, etc.) is 50.
Do you do DTG (direct to garment) printing, sublimation printing, or custom embroidery?
We currently are a silk screen shop only and do not offer these services.
Do you print stickers?
We do not, although we have friends at www.godecals.net that would love to help you print stickers! They do amazing work and are also located in the Chattanooga area.
How long will it take to complete my order?
We typically have orders completed in two weeks from the time the order is submitted and the designs are in our hands. If you need your products sooner, we have to rush fee options: $25 for under two weeks and $50 for under one week.
How does your pricing work?
Every order is custom and will be priced a little differently. Pricing depends on factors such as the brand of garment, the number of pieces needed, the colors in the design, and the placement on the garment or other product.
